Shortly after, Duran doubled the lead, expertly turning in a cross from Rogers with a clinical finish to make it 2-0. The Colombian forward continues to be a standout performer for Villa in this campaign.
With nine points from three games, Aston Villa are in a strong position as they prepare to face Club Brugge next, while Bologna remain at the bottom of the group with just one point and no goals after three matches.
