Chelsea FC maintained their impeccable UEFA Conference League campaign with a commanding 5-1 victory over Shamrock Rovers at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea regained the lead after a poorly judged back pass by Daniel Cleary allowed Guiu to pounce for his second goal. The Blues then turned on the style, with Dewsbury-Hall slotting home and Guiu completing his hat-trick just before halftime by expertly finishing a cross from Noni Madueke.
Chelsea F.C. used the second half to rotate their squad and provide opportunities for young talents. Still, it was veteran Marc Cucurella who capped off the scoring with a precise right-footed strike, wrapping up an emphatic performance for CFC.
Shamrock Rovers showed resilience but ultimately lacked the defensive solidity to contain Chelsea’s attacking prowess. They will face a playoff match in February as they aim to extend their European campaign.
