Carlos Augusto and Marcus Thuram completed the rout with late goals. Augusto displayed incredible footwork in a crowded penalty area to score, while Thuram sealed the win with a thunderous finish inside the near post.
With the emphatic victory, Inter Milan remains third in Serie A with 34 points from 15 games. They are now just three points behind leaders Atalanta, with a game in hand. Lazio, meanwhile, drops to fifth with 31 points from 16 matches.
