1. Overview

1BoxOffice ("we," "our," "us") operates an online platform at www.1boxoffice.com, facilitating transactions between ticket buyers and sellers for various events. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. For questions, contact us at [email protected].

The following terms apply to all users of the Platform, including both buyers and sellers (collectively referred to as "Users"). Please note that 1BoxOffice is not affiliated with any event promoters, official organisers, teams or venues.

1BoxOffice reserves the right to modify this User Agreement at any time. Notice of any amendments will be provided by posting the updated User Agreement on the Site. The revised Agreement will apply to new users immediately upon posting and will become binding for existing users 30 days after the posting date. No other modifications to this Agreement will be valid. Your continued use of the Site indicates acceptance of the revised Agreement. If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement or future revisions, please discontinue use of the Site.


2. User Eligibility and Registration

To participate on the Platform, users must complete the required registration process, ensuring all requested information is accurately and fully provided on the registration form. Registration is free, aside from any applicable telecommunication costs. Only individuals aged 18 or older with full legal capacity, as well as legally recognized entities, are eligible to register. Access to the Platform is granted at the discretion of 1BoxOffice and is not guaranteed.

Users are required to provide truthful and complete information during registration. Misrepresentation, use of unauthorised names, or infringement of third party rights during the registration process is strictly prohibited. Providing false information may result in temporary or permanent suspension from the Platform, including possible exclusion after any required notice period.


2.2 Account Registration

Each user’s access to the Platform is secured by a unique password, whether registered via email or through social media login. It is solely the user’s responsibility to keep their password confidential and secure. We recommend regularly updating passwords and strongly advise users to change their password immediately if it becomes known to unauthorised parties. Passwords must not be shared with third parties and should only be used to access the Platform and its services. Users are accountable for all actions conducted under their password.

By using the Platform, users agree to comply with these Terms of Use. Violations may lead to temporary or permanent suspension from the Platform. Transferring a user account to a third party is only permitted with explicit consent from 1BoxOffice.


2.3 Role of 1BoxOffice

1BoxOffice serves solely as a technology platform that connects ticket buyers and sellers for various events. We do not host events, sell tickets, or participate in contractual agreements between buyers and sellers regarding tickets.

There is no fee for registering on the Platform. However, 1BoxOffice charges a service fee to sellers or buyers to access the Platform. This fee may be a fixed amount, a percentage, or a variable amount based on the transaction. 1BoxOffice does not retain any seller proceeds in its accounts.

Unless otherwise specified in these Terms of Use, 1BoxOffice does not mediate disputes or enforce claims between users. We do not review user listings or hold any ownership of the items listed on the Site; therefore, we have no control over the quality, safety, or legality of the listed items, nor the accuracy of listings or the capabilities of buyers or sellers to fulfil transactions. Users must not assume that any item listed is valid or legally compliant. 1BoxOffice is not responsible for incomplete transactions, or inaccuracies in tickets or services delivered. Users bear sole responsibility for ensuring their actions comply with relevant laws.

1BoxOffice reserves the right to modify listings as necessary to ensure compatibility with mobile devices or third-party software applications.


2.4 Identity Verification

1BoxOffice employs various methods to verify user-provided information during registration. However, due to the complexities of online verification, 1BoxOffice cannot guarantee the authenticity of users or the accuracy of posted information. We recommend that users communicate directly with potential transaction partners using the tools provided on the Site to ensure clarity and mutual understanding.


2.5 Liability

If you have any claim, right, or action against another user due to their use of the Site, you agree to pursue such claim independently and without involving 1BoxOffice. By using the Platform, you release 1BoxOffice, along with its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, and employees, from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including legal fees, known or unknown, arising from or in connection with such claims.


2.6 Information Control

1BoxOffice does not control the information provided by other users on the Platform. You may encounter information that may be offensive, harmful, inaccurate, or misleading. We advise users to exercise caution, common sense, and safe trading practices when using the Site. Additionally, there are inherent risks in interacting with individuals who may be underage or misrepresenting themselves. By using the Site, you acknowledge these risks and agree that 1BoxOffice is not responsible for the actions or omissions of other users.


3. Purchasing Tickets

Users are responsible for thoroughly reviewing all ticket listings, including any specific notes, before making a purchase. By placing an order, you enter a binding agreement with the seller to purchase the specified tickets, and additional terms communicated by the seller may apply. Payment is processed through 1BoxOffice (or our affiliated entities) and disbursed to the seller under our Payment Services Agreement for Sellers or the User Agreement. All sales are final; orders cannot be altered or cancelled once placed.

1BoxOffice reserves the right to cancel any booking and issue a full refund if necessary. We are not liable for any expenses arising from the cancellation of tickets or services.


3.2 Confirmation Emails

Upon completing your order, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive it, do not assume the order was unsuccessful. Please contact us at [email protected] to confirm your booking. We are not liable for internet connectivity issues or payment processing errors. It is your responsibility to verify any unconfirmed booking to avoid duplicate orders. All orders are final, with no exchanges or refunds permitted.

The confirmation email will detail the tickets or services purchased based on the listing at the time of sale. Failure to provide correct information, including your name, address, and delivery details, may prevent you from receiving or collecting tickets, and 1BoxOffice assumes no responsibility for any associated losses.


3.3 Pending Confirmation

When an order status is marked "Pending Confirmation," it indicates our finance team is currently verifying the transaction as a security measure. Once placed, orders cannot be modified, cancelled, or exchanged. Verification is typically completed promptly but may take up to 12 hours in some cases. Upon verification, a sale confirmation email will be sent. Should a payment issue arise, we will cancel the sale and notify you of the rejected transaction.

1BoxOffice reserves the right to cancel any booking and issue a full refund if we cannot fulfil the requested tickets or services. We are not liable for any incidental expenses, such as hotel or flight adjustments, resulting from ticket or service cancellations.


3.4 Ticket Pricing

Registered users may buy or sell tickets on the Platform. Ticket prices are set by the seller, not 1BoxOffice, and may be higher or lower than face value. 1BoxOffice does not own or control the tickets listed on the Site.


3.5 Fees and Other Charges

1BoxOffice may apply fees for selling or purchasing tickets and related services, which may include delivery or fulfilment charges (collectively, "Service Fees" or "Arrangement Fees"). These fees vary depending on the event type, ticket type, and location and may be adjusted at our sole discretion, even after tickets are listed. Any applicable fees, including taxes, will be disclosed before ticket purchase or listing.

Service Fees may also apply if users do not meet contractual obligations under this User Agreement. Additional fees, such as delivery charges, will be displayed before finalising the purchase. 1BoxOffice is not responsible for any credit card, bank, or currency conversion fees incurred by users.

In cases where tickets are unavailable, users may submit a ticket request and pay a request fee upon submission. If an offer is made for the requested tickets, the fee will be applied to the total amount if accepted. If the user declines the offered price, 1BoxOffice will retain the fee as payment for the services rendered.


3.6 Ticket Seating Arrangement

Unless otherwise specified in the ticket listing, 1BoxOffice will make every effort to seat tickets in pairs. If the listing specifies seating arrangements for more than two seats together, tickets will be grouped as indicated. For groups of three or more, we will strive to seat your group together, though this cannot be guaranteed unless expressly stated in the ticket option purchased. Note that in some stadiums, such as Barcelona’s Camp Nou and Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu, "seating together" may include seats that are adjacent but arranged diagonally or perpendicularly.

Seating options are categorised as follows:

  • Single Seats: Individual seats are not grouped together.
  • Tickets Seated in Pairs: A maximum of two seats side-by-side; if an odd number of tickets is purchased, one person may be seated separately.
  • Up to 3 Together: A maximum of three seats together.
  • Up to 4 Together: A maximum of four seats together.
  • All Seats Together: All tickets will be seated as a single group.
  • Unreserved Seating: Tickets are allocated in a free-seating area.
  • Connecting Seats: Pairs of seats connected, which may be adjacent, diagonal, or with other seats or aisles in between.
  • Standing Only: Tickets are for standing spaces only, with no seating provided.

Please note that specific seating arrangements are based on ticket availability and may vary by event and venue.

3.7 Website Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy in all event listings, technical errors may occasionally occur. If an error results in an incorrect order confirmation, 1BoxOffice will notify you as soon as possible and reserves the right to cancel the order. When feasible, we will offer the option to reconfirm with the correct details or cancel the order for a full refund. If we cannot reach you, you agree that the order may be cancelled without liability to 1BoxOffice.


4. Ticket Delivery

Ticket delivery methods depend on the type of ticket purchased, which may include physical tickets, membership cards, mobile tickets, or electronic PDF tickets.

1BoxOffice guarantees tickets are delivered before the event start time. In cases where delivery cannot be arranged, tickets may be collected at the venue. Users must provide accurate delivery information; 1BoxOffice is not liable for delivery failures resulting from incorrect buyer information or issues with third-party couriers.

All tickets are typically delivered 24 to 48 hours before the event date. On extremely rare occasions our delivery times and methods are subject to change and may include venue collection if required by the event organiser.

Detailed collection instructions will be sent via email or WhatsApp. Please ensure you have a valid photo ID available when collecting tickets. Note that delivery, service, administrative, or arrangement fees are non-refundable in cases of delayed delivery. Your contact information may be shared with delivery agents or sellers to facilitate ticket delivery or to address order-related inquiries.

1BoxOffice and sellers utilise secure delivery methods, including Royal Mail Special Delivery, UPS, DHL, and other private couriers. Neither 1BoxOffice nor the Seller is liable for lost tickets due to third-party couriers or delivery failures resulting from incorrect buyer information. Additionally, we bear no responsibility if tickets are directed to a sorting office due to the buyer’s inability to sign for the delivery. Once tickets have been dispatched or transferred via a mobile application, 1BoxOffice and the Seller are no longer liable for the delivery. This also applies to digital tickets sent via email or mobile device. Buyers should check spam and junk folders for ticket-related emails. Under no circumstances will 1BoxOffice or the Seller be liable for travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by the buyer.


4.2 Electronic Tickets

PDF tickets are generally issued 24 to 48 hours before the event date and can be printed at home or scanned on a smartphone.

Mobile tickets, typically sent as QR codes, are transferred 24 to 48 hours before the event.

Depending on the event organiser, buyers may need to download an application to access and present these tickets at the event.

If a ticket requires a name change or transfer via a mobile application, buyers are responsible for providing accurate names and email addresses for all attendees within 48 hours of booking or at the time of purchase. Once tickets have been transferred, the service is considered complete, regardless of whether the transfer is accepted by the buyer.

1BoxOffice is not liable for refused, cancelled, or unaccepted transfer of tickets. If tickets are returned or unaccepted due to an incorrect name or email address, a $100 service fee per ticket will apply. Failure to pay this fee does not negate the service’s completion, and no refunds will be issued. Detailed instructions regarding electronic tickets are provided via email upon purchase.


4.3 Paper Tickets & Membership/Season Cards

Paper ticket deliveries are generally conducted through Royal Mail, UPS, FedEx, or hand delivery by the seller, requiring a signature upon receipt. Occasionally, tickets may require in-person collection near the venue. You will receive an email notification once the tickets are shipped. Delivery times are typically 48 hours (one day within the UK) or 7-10 days for FedEx International Delivery.

1BoxOffice and the Seller reserve the right to deliver tickets up to the event day via venue representatives or by electronic means (e-tickets or mobile tickets). Delivery arrangement fees are non-refundable in such cases. Buyers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information, including the name used for hotel reservations if applicable. This information must be provided to 1BoxOffice at least three working days before the event. We are not liable for late or failed delivery if information is provided after this deadline.

Please notify the hotel or building reception staff in advance to ensure they accept delivery on your behalf if you are unavailable to sign. If the ticket is a membership card, it can only be delivered to a local hotel or collected near the event venue. Buyers must present the confirmation email and valid ID for ticket collection. Membership cards are only valid for the specific event and date for which they were purchased from 1BoxOffice.


4.4 Returning Membership Cards / Season Cards

Following the conclusion of an event, the Buyer must promptly return the Membership Card to 1BoxOffice in accordance with instructions provided by 1BoxOffice or the Seller. Instructions may be communicated by phone, email, or included as a letter within the delivery package. Buyers staying at a hotel in the event city are required to leave the Membership Card at the hotel reception or concierge desk the same night, enclosed in an envelope labelled with "1BoxOffice" or as instructed. Buyers may also be asked to meet with a 1BoxOffice representative to return the Membership Card.

Failure to return the Membership Card or meet with the 1BoxOffice representative as instructed will result in charges applied automatically to the Buyer’s credit card or other payment method. If the Membership Card is not returned, 1BoxOffice is authorised to charge the card for the full amount associated with each event hosted at the venue. The prices displayed on the Website will serve as the basis for these charges.

In cases where a Membership Card is lost or not returned, 1BoxOffice reserves the right to impose a minimum penalty of $1,000 per Membership Card. 1BoxOffice and its affiliates may also initiate legal action to recover any unpaid penalties and service fees.


4.4 Ticket Accuracy

Upon receipt, it is the Buyer’s responsibility to promptly verify the accuracy of the delivered tickets. Any discrepancies between the tickets received and those ordered must be reported immediately to 1BoxOffice, and the incorrect tickets must be returned via recorded delivery or equivalent. 1BoxOffice will make every effort to provide tickets of equal or higher quality. If the incorrect tickets are not returned or are used, no refund or discount will be issued. No refunds are available for discrepancies reported once the event has started; the Buyer is presumed to have accepted the tickets as delivered.


4.5 Venue Collection / No Show

When delivery is unavailable due to factors outside 1BoxOffice's control (e.g., last-minute bookings, public holidays, same-day purchases, or delayed ticket release by official organisers), a venue collection point will be arranged by the 1BoxOffice team. Buyers who fail to collect their tickets as specified will be classified as a “No Show” and will not be eligible for a refund. 1BoxOffice assumes no liability for additional costs incurred in ticket collection, and Buyers are fully responsible for retrieving tickets within the designated timeframe. Collection instructions will be communicated via email, WhatsApp, or SMS. Buyers must ensure accurate contact details and check for communications from 1BoxOffice.

Refunds will not be issued if the Buyer cannot collect tickets within the specified timeframe, or location, or fails to present valid photo identification (e.g., driver’s license). Failure to respond to collection notifications will also result in a “No Show” status, with no refunds issued.


4.6 Ticket Validity Queries

All inquiries regarding ticket validity must be directed to 1BoxOffice’s Customer Service team, accessible via email at [email protected] or through the provided emergency WhatsApp contact. Buyers should not contact the event organiser, venue, or promoter with ticket inquiries, as doing so may result in ticket cancellation or confiscation. If a ticket is cancelled due to unauthorised contact, no refund will be issued. Tickets sold by 1BoxOffice and its partners are exclusively for members, and resale is strictly prohibited. 1BoxOffice is not liable if a venue or organiser refuses entry, even with a valid ticket. No refunds or compensation will be provided in such cases, including any additional expenses incurred.

1BoxOffice only sources tickets that are authentic, unduplicated, and not reported as lost or stolen. In the rare event, that a ticket is deemed invalid, a full refund of the ticket’s original face value will be issued, excluding service fees. Additional costs related to the order, such as travel and accommodation, are not the responsibility of 1BoxOffice or Seller. Buyers should contact 1BoxOffice or the emergency WhatsApp number immediately if entry issues occur. Where possible, 1BoxOffice or the Seller will attempt to resolve the issue on-site. If replacement tickets cannot be arranged, a full refund of the ticket’s face value will be provided after verification.

No refunds or compensation will be issued if the Buyer contacts 1BoxOffice regarding entry issues more than 20 minutes after the event start time. By this point, access to the event may have closed, limiting our ability to assist. It is the Buyer’s responsibility to arrive at the event on time and to promptly notify us of any entry-related issues.


4.7 Ticket Substitutions

In certain cases, seat locations may be substituted with equivalent or superior seats. Should 1BoxOffice or the Seller be unable to provide the exact ticket or service ordered, an upgrade or downgrade to the next available category will be offered at no additional cost. Buyers will be notified directly of such changes. In the unlikely scenario where a seller issues a downgraded ticket, a maximum refund of 25% of the ticket cost will be issued to the buyer's payment method. This refund will be based on the ticket price paid at the time of purchase and will exclude any service fees, delivery, and administration fees that are non-refundable.

On rare occasions, event organisers may reallocate seating locations due to production adjustments, which may result in separated seats. Buyers will be informed of any seating changes before delivery, but no refunds or exchanges will be issued. 1BoxOffice and Sellers are not liable for these changes.


4.8 Non-Supply of Tickets

For Seller:

If a Seller fails to provide tickets listed on the Platform, 1BoxOffice reserves the right to charge the Seller’s account for the cost of replacement tickets. Should the replacement cost exceed the Seller’s account balance, the outstanding amount must be paid to 1BoxOffice within seven (7) working days. Failure to settle the balance may result in legal action against the Seller.

For Buyers:

In cases where 1BoxOffice cannot supply Buyers with the purchased tickets or an equivalent substitute, a full refund will be processed via the original payment method. If an alternative ticket option is offered and declined by the Buyer, only the ticket price, minus any applicable service fees, will be refunded. 1BoxOffice or Seller will not be liable for any additional expenses, including but not limited to travel and accommodation.


5. Event Cancellations, Postponements, and Other Changes

Event dates and times are subject to change, postponement, or cancellation without prior notice. Buyers are responsible for verifying event details with the venue or local media to ensure accurate timing and location. 1BoxOffice is not liable for notifying Buyers of such changes or for any expenses incurred as a result.

If an event is rescheduled, purchased tickets remain valid for the new date. No refunds will be issued for rescheduled events, as all sales are final, and tickets are considered valid regardless of date and time changes.

In the event of a full cancellation and if the original event organiser offers ticket refunds (except for certain football/soccer events where refunds may not be available), Buyers must return the original tickets to 1BoxOffice by a secure, traceable courier within the time frame specified by 1BoxOffice. Only the original face value of the ticket will be refunded, as 1BoxOffice’s service includes obtaining premium tickets from international sellers. Under no circumstances will delivery or service fees be refunded. 1BoxOffice assumes no responsibility for travel, accommodation, or other expenses incurred due to a cancelled or rescheduled event.

1BoxOffice is not responsible for partial performances, changes to the venue, security or staffing issues at the venue, seating views, lineup changes, or schedule adjustments. No refunds will be provided for such modifications.


6. Refund & Cancellation Policy

All sales on 1BoxOffice are final, and no refunds or exchanges will be provided once an order is placed. Buyers should confirm their ability to attend before purchasing tickets, regardless of possible rescheduling. If a Buyer cannot attend, tickets may be eligible for re-listing on 1BoxOffice for resale, but resale cannot be guaranteed. If the ticket is resold, a refund will be issued via bank transfer or the original payment method, minus any applicable bank or card processing fees.

If a refund is issued under any of the above qualifying conditions. In that case, the Buyer agrees that 1BoxOffice will not be liable for any additional expenses, including, but not limited to, travel, accommodation, or incidental costs.


7. Governing Law and Legal Compliance

This User Agreement is governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Cyprus and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Cypriot courts.

Please be aware that your country, or the country of any user you transact with, may have its own laws that apply to your transactions, irrespective of the terms outlined in this Agreement. These laws may differ from Cypriot law, particularly regarding what can be legally offered, sold, imported, or exported, and there may be additional legal requirements to consider.

You are responsible for complying with all applicable domestic and international laws, statutes, ordinances, and regulations when using our services, including the listing, purchase, solicitation, and sale of items. As it is not feasible for 1BoxOffice to monitor the laws of every jurisdiction or each individual transaction, you should not assume that any activity permitted by other users is automatically lawful or endorsed by us. Even if similar transactions were completed in the past, they may still be subject to local regulations or restrictions.


8. Final Provisions

1BoxOffice is neither obligated nor willing to participate in any dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer conciliation board.

Users are prohibited from disclosing or publishing statements or information about transactions, buyer claims, or disputes that could harm the reputation of 1BoxOffice. This includes any statements made online or on social media or review websites that are accessible to the public or a large audience. Such content includes, but is not limited to, defamatory, false, or misleading statements.

1BoxOffice reserves the right to impose penalties for spreading harmful, false, or inaccurate information, including withholding any outstanding payments until the issue is resolved or the content is removed. Additionally, 1BoxOffice may require a signed undertaking from the user to refrain from publishing such statements in the future before releasing any withheld funds.


9. Disclaimer

1BoxOffice is a private, secondary ticketing marketplace and is not affiliated with Ticketmaster, any box office, official event organisers, artists, sports teams, or venues. We are neither endorsed by nor associated with any artists, teams, venues, or organisations mentioned on this site. References to such entities are purely for descriptive purposes.

1BoxOffice, including its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, agents, and employees, does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or secure access to its services. External factors beyond our control may interfere with the operation of the Site.

All services and access to the Site are provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, 1BoxOffice excludes all implied warranties, conditions, and terms, whether statutory or otherwise, including but not limited to those related to skill, care, or timeliness of performance.
