Czechia vs Moldova: Can Moldova Make It To 2024?

Czech has its primary target against Moldova tonight which will be not giving away a loss. The Czech Republic can settle on second position by holding a draw with Italy here and assuming that the Albanians do not lose against the Faroes. Nevertheless, the side suffers a setback when Brabec, Coufal, and Kuchta, who have played in previous qualifiers, break international rules by visiting a nightclub on Sunday. Therefore, the two defendants and a forward will be injured leaving only Coufal back in his club, West Ham.

However, Moldova can still make it to EURO 2024 if they win and get a point ahead of the Czech team. Moreover, the lack of crucial players gives more zeal to the Moldovan team. Moldova has won five out of seven qualifying matches, thus establishing themselves well in the tournament. In their first leg match against Albania, they faced some difficulties, including drawing nil against the Czechs, but they have a competent three-person attack force. Nicolaescu and Postolachi can prove crucial, considering that Vadim Rata is an excellent midfielder.
